Fall in Charleston brings its own palette of beautiful colors, and this maternity session captured that essence perfectly! We explored two of my favorite spots in the low country: Historic downtown Charleston and Sullivan’s Island.
Historic Downtown Charleston
Beginning in the heart of Charleston, South Carolina, steeped in history and charm, we found the ideal backdrop on Chalmers Street for this stunning maternity photoshoot. The deep blue of the mom-to-be’s dress complemented the city’s earth tones exquisitely.
Sullivan’s Island
Transitioning to Sullivan’s Island for the second part of the session, we embraced the beach’s rich history and autumnal beauty. The coastline, adorned with green seagrass turning into purple and golden hues, radiated warmth and serenity. Changing into a lighter blue outfit, the mom-to-be harmonized beautifully with the island’s scenery.
Overall, you cannot go wrong with either of these locations for your maternity session. Whether it is the historic streets of downtown Charleston or the incredible coastline of Sullivan’s Island, both are great options. And if you can’t choose, you don’t have to- I love to accommodate my clients’ visions as best as I can which can include both of these locations for your own maternity session.
