I'm Rachel
Over the past few years, I've channeled my expertise and dedication into establishing Rachel Elisabeth Photo. Collaborating with clients brings me immense joy as I strive to provide not just stunning images, but also a memorable experience. My goal is to deliver photographs that hold enduring value, ones that will be cherished forever.
I discovered my passion at a young age and it has been a treasured journey ever since. While in college, I realized that photography held a deeper significance than just a hobby. This motivated me to refine my craft, immersing myself in the intricacies of the art form. I found myself being constantly drawn to the moments of love and connection between families. I wanted to really bottle these memories up the best way I could so my clients would be able to relive those times with each photograph.
How it all started...
A hot pink point and shoot camera came into my life on my 13th birthday and I never went without one since. Although, there has been a few upgrades over the years!
2008

This was a huge year of life transitions. I walked the aisle twice in a few months- one to receive my Bachelor's degree and then again for a dreamy summer wedding right at my childhood home.
2017
- Graduated college and tied the knot with my best friend
After years of investing in other photography companies, I finally took the leap to create my own and have worked hard to build a business I'm proud of.
We visited the charming city of Charleston and within two weeks after that visit, we packed up our home in Chicago and made the leap and planted some roots here!

From the moment we reached out to Rachel, we knew we found a true gem. She is a true artist. She took photos of our family to celebrate our daughter turning one and was able to capture so much love and magic into each photo. Usually we only love a handful of photos when done in the past, but, with Rachel's, we loved every single one of them. We are so grateful to have found her!
